Often times when my friends and I go to see a film, I find myself having a much different opinion about the film than all of my friends. This is expected since I’m not exactly the laid back viewer that all of friends are.
Film is an art form, not just a form of casual entertainment.
The quality gap between a good film and a bad film is quite vast. Unfortunately, I’ve also noticed that there’s only about handful of people my age who truly appreciate good films for what they are, rather than most I’ve known who say that the latest teen drama is the best film of the century without adequate reasoning.
Because of this, I have felt the growing need to express my opinion about films; past and present, and show people that movies are a lot more than just something to kill two hours with.
